About
My interest in photography started over 10 years ago, my father would always explain the importance of taking pictures, how to take pictures and how to work with an SLR ever since I can remember. With that said, I always had a camera with me which I carried always on my trips, this was a simple film point and shoot camera, nothing spectacular. When I started to develop my pictures, I noticed a lot of them were actually not half bad and I decided to get serious about photography after my fathers encouragement . I became serious about photography in 2003. I purchased my first SLR (I was always using my father's Nikon F10 35mm SLR) and the rest is history.

I spent time learning about composition, the importance of using the depth of field, shutter speeds and aperture effects and trying to develop an "eye" for an image that could tell a story if you looked at it.

I don't consider my work as a fine art, but of fine quality. Quality which is well composed. Images that are both colorful and black and white.

As I said on my home page, photography is a way of expression, it translates the way things are viewed and can be captured through my eyes. There is so much yet to learn, but I look forward to it and am excited about becoming a better photographer.

If you have any constructive comments about the images you see on this site, I would be delighted to hear from you.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the images as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
